As you all know, it's been a ROUGH year so far, and I am not going to lie, it's been hard to find the positive in anything for the last few weeks because it felt like there was set back after set back! Well, I am so happy to let you all know that we will finally begin the RESTORATION - that's right - we are starting to put back together our building beginning August 3rd! That means, drywall will be installed, taped and mudded. Paint will be painted, ceiling tiles and light fixtures will be installed, floors will be redone, windows will be replaced, HVAC will be installed, and so much more will be done to bring the store back to it's wonderful self!
My original plan of making things in the original kitchen where Rachel Rene began 15 years ago fell through when I realized that all my equipment - blenders, scales, soap molds etc, had been either damaged or taken for cleaning and we do not get any of that stuff back until the production room is done being restored.
When will that be you ask? Well, it is our HOPE that the store will be ready to reopen by September 4th. I know it's not our original intended mid-July date but I'm just thankful that we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, because it's been darkness for way too long!
We should have a firm reopening date within the next 2 weeks! THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out and offered support and comfort and words of encouragement over the last 8 weeks!!! We cannot wait to get back in our production room and start making products again!
